In the all new special Five Alarm Blaze, debuting tomorrow (Friday 3/4) at noon on Nickelodeon, Blaze has to win a race, deal with some extra HOT hot dogs, fix a giant hole in the street and help out the Fire Chief in putting out a fire on the bridge.Wow what a packed full of knowledge episode! Especially in twenty two minutes. True Blood actor Joe Manganiello provides the voice for the mustachioed Fire Chief.
What I like about Blaze, is that it is really fun and the learning aspect, is really blended in seamlessly. And even though there are “bad” guys, they are not malicious. They just want to win the races, and when they don’t they get a little sore, but no one is harming anyone.

Nickelodeon on their Nick Jr page have a fire fighter game featuring Blaze, Marshall from Paw Patrol and Molly from Bubble Guppies, which promotes the concept of fire safety through a few mini games. Check it out here. This game is a perfect way to talk to your kids about escape plans from your home and to show them how to check on their fire alarms.
The series currently ranks #1 in its time slot and airs regularly weekdays at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon, which is the top network for preschoolers and kids 2-11.
