Hot as hell!

Holy shit has it been hot ... and apparently its going to get hotter. Over the weekend Ani and I went out to the outlets in Riverhead when we got back into Queens at around 830ish it was still fucking hot, in the 90s.

Sunday afternoon we saw a temperature reading on 98 degrees. Could this be a chilling (pardon the pun) of up coming danger? This guy thinks so.

Who knew it is so hard to find sofa covers. Over the weekend we went to almost 20 stores looking for sofa covers. Unbelievable. And when we found them they were hella expensive.

I have like 25 new beers to try out between a trip to a cool beer place in Huntington that I mention on my beer blog and a mixed 12 pack I got at Stop -n- Shop last week. I am very fired up about the beer and the new blog, but not so much in typing up my old beer findings.

Going to work on a really hot day is great. You have the internet and some air conditioning, what more could you ask for. I guess a TV and frosty beverages.

I bought this awesome Godzilla plush form TY. I've been looking for it for years, and I found it cheap at this place off of St. Marks place.

I love the trading deadline in baseball. One of the most exciting times in the year. I hope the Mets don't do anything foolish. As much as I'd like to have Barry Zito in the Mets rotation, I don't think mortgaging the future is worth it for a 3 month rental.

I don't know if I mentioned this but Dio is going to be in the Tenacious D movie. Awesome!

Also my iPod is dead. I took it in and the best they could offer me is 10% off my next iPod purchase. I'm not sure if there will be an next iPod purchase. Though I have heard good things about the iPod shuffle, it would be a good stop gap mp3 player, until I can buy a better one. Perhaps the new wireless Microsoft one?
