This morning I was awaken by this banging sound. I looked at the clock and said "who the fuck is knocking on a Saturday morning". I know today is Friday. I didn't know that at 6:14am. So I get out of bed, Ani is already awake. I call out "Ani". And from behind the closed kitchen door she yells out "I'm stuck in here," pauses "and I'm naked". I guess the fire department is not an option now. So I go and pee. I try to force the door open. I am having visions of having to break through the door. Which would have been awesome! I would get to lower the back seat of my car to fit the new door I'd have to buy.
So I ask Ani for a butter knife. Then I ask her for toast and jam. Boy do I make my self laugh. I was able to pry open the door. It probably needs a new mechanism since I broke it during the rescue.
I don't know if I mentioned it I am addicted to this blog called
Pop Candy. It is from USA Today - the nations most colorful newspaper. The blog, is run by this girl Whitney Matheson. She has really natural voice on her blog and it is almost a training module for the World Series of Pop Culture (more on that later).
...and not to bad looking either
