Of course this list is very subjective. And I'm sure you'll all have additions and subtractions to the list. There are things that you may think are not metal, and I'm sure there will be things on your lists (phunkie) that I would not consider metal.
I will make a note, there are two songs I wanted on the list and the accompanying CD that I could not find online, Judas Priest's "Hell Bent For Leather" (which I had Ani singing in Target) and "Suicide Solution" by Ozzy.
And as Paul Kaufman once said "the greatest songs in the history of metal ... DISCUSS!"
